Let the Redeemed of the Lord Tell Their Story (Psalm 107, Part 3)

Thank God for Steadfastly Loving (verses 33-43)

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+107%3A33-43&version=NIV

In our prosperity may we not exalt ourselves to accomplish God’s purpose, because ultimately God’s judgment will find us out. We need to learn to trust our God and walk in His strength, enjoying His love. In His power God quiets the evil around us. We praise God for answering our prayers, fulfilling His promises, and steadfastly loving us.

Loving God, we confess our sin. Lift us out of our affliction. The more we see of You and Your work, the more we rejoice. With praise we ponder Your loving deeds.

Praise, my soul, the King of heaven,
To His feet thy tribute bring;
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven,
Evermore His praises sing.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the everlasting King.

Let the Redeemed of the Lord Tell Their Story (Psalm 107, Part 2)

Thank God for His Delivery (verses 10-32)

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+107%3A10-32&version=NIV

We often find ourselves in prisons of our own making, shut up in self-centeredness, worldliness, doubt, routine, or sin. When we lay our problems at God’s feet He will deliver us. Jesus has broken our powerful spiritual bonds and set us free. God’s freeing word comes to us with the assurance of forgiveness. We therefore praise God for our delivery and remember those still in bonds.

Imprisoned in our chains of sin, we cried to You, Lord our God, and You saved us. With suffering and anguish, You, Lord Jesus, redeemed us from Satan’s power. Keep us steadfast in our faith as we look forward to the time when pain and sickness and sorrow will be no more. We sing songs of joy and tell of Your unfailing love and wonderful deeds. We exalt and praise You in our assemblies.

Let the Redeemed of the Lord Tell Their Story (Psalm 107, Part 1)

This hymn of thanksgiving encourages us to see God’s great love for His creation and especially for His people. God can and does redeem the world, giving us reasons to praise Him.

Thank God for His Refreshing (verses 1-9)

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+107%3A1-9&version=NIV

We thank God our Redeemer for His refreshing goodness and love. People all around us wander from place to place, job to job or marriage to marriage, looking for something they cannot find. God offers His Son, Jesus Christ to the lost, the hungry and the thirsty, as the Way, the Bread and the Water of life. We thank God with the entire church for giving us His life. May we not hold back from telling others about God’s goodness.

Thank You, Lord our God, for You are good; Your love endures forever. Help us whom You have redeemed and refreshed to faithfully tell Your story. Thank You for gathering us from distant lands. We give thanks to You, for You satisfy the thirsty and fill the hungry.
