The Bounty of God (Psalm 65, Part 3)

God of Plenty in the Harvest (verses 9-13)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2065:9-13&version=NIV

God cares for the land and enriches it abundantly. May we join in restoring earth to God’s original creation intention. God provides for our needs. Yet with so many starving people in the world, we should not take our own abundant harvest for granted. People suffer because those with plenty do not share with those in need. In this verdant Pacific Northwest may we praise God for His gift of rain and the flourishing growth which results. The earth is a hymn to the Eternal God. May we join the mighty chorus praising God by sharing our bounty and inviting others to experience our joy.

God of plenty in the harvest, make us contagious in our outreach. Help us to share our abundance with those without. Thank You for Your bounty. In You, our bountiful God, we shout and sing.

O that the world might taste and see
The riches of His grace!
The arms of love that compass me
Would all mankind embrace.
Charles Wesley (1707-1788)
