If My People Would Listen to Me (Psalm 81, Part 1)

God wants His people to listen for His voice. As we worship God together may we listen to what He has to say to us. We can rejoice in our God as we remember His past deliverance and repent of our seeking our own way.

Rejoice (verses 1-5a)

God calls His covenant community to rejoice in corporate worship of Him. May we rejoice as we proclaim the mighty acts of God. God’s gift of illumination to our darkened minds provides life and satisfaction to our souls. Because God will satisfy we have reason for rejoicing.

We sing aloud to You, God our strength. We shout for joy to our God! We rejoice in our God. In joyous praise we worship You. Thank You for Your life and satisfaction.
