Restore Us, O God (Psalm 80, Part 2)

The Ravaged Vine (verses 8-13)

God, the vinedresser, clears the ground and plants and nurtures the vine. God’s enemies have no power to do what they want without His permission. May God Almighty look again with kindness on His vine, and display His mighty acts of salvation and rule. May God’s blessing restore greatness to His lowly vine.

Thank You, God Almighty, that as our Vinedresser You clear the ground and plant and nurture the vine. Thank You that You have control over Your enemies. Do not forsake us. O God Almighty, look again with kindness on us Your vine, and show us Your mighty salvation and rule.
