The Holy King (verse 5)
5Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days.
May God’s Spirit reshape our
lives according to His laws. God’s holiness is our inner glory. Our holy lives,
by God’s gift, are our only fit response. May God fill His holy temple, His church,
with His glory (1 Corinthians 3:17). Sacred to our God is the church of Jesus
Christ. May He preserve His church undefiled. May His holiness adorn His house for
endless days. May we ground our faith
on the eternal truth of God, our holy King.
Thank You,
our Holy King, that Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns Your house. Thank
You and Praise You, for You are our holy King. Strengthen Your church with Your
holiness.
We look forward to God’s new
creation, when He who is from all eternity reigns forever. May God make His
dwelling among His people: Jesus Christ, Immanuel, God with us!
