The Deliverance (verses 16-42)

Just as Joseph went through slavery
and imprisonment and Christ went through Calvary; we too experience suffering. Egypt’s
greatest suffering came in the dead of night when every Egyptian house wailed
its firstborn son! Darkness still covers the earth as the result of sin. May those
who live in darkness soon see a great light. Having delivered His children, God
housed them and fed them His food. Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life, has a house
of many mansions for us.
Thank You that You, Lord our God, deliver Your
people. We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good. You shelter us and give
us our daily bread. We remember Your holy promises.
