Praise for God’s faithfulness (verses 7-11)

Our faithful God is true to His word, so we draw comfort from His rule over the earth. When God comes in His glory He will drive away evil and its effects. May God’s faithfulness stimulate an outbreak of praise. With enthusiastic joy of anticipation, may we sing God’s praise to the peoples of the whole world, testifying to His deeds among the nations.

Steadfast God, make us faithful and steadfast. Awaken Your church in Jefferson County. God of the universe, we lift up peoples in other nations before Your throne. We will praise You, Lord, among the nations. Your great love, reaches to the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth.

My heart is fixed on thee, my God!

I rest my hope on thee alone,

I’ll spread thy sacred truths abroad,

To all mankind thy love made known.
