The Power of God’s People (verses 9-12)
When we feel surrounded by our
enemies and totally outnumbered, we can turn to our powerful God for help. God’s
honor is bound up in preserving His people. Just as the Israelites remembered God’s
victory over the nations, may we never forget Calvary. God continues to choose the
weak to take the land—God’s pasturelands.
Protect us, Lord our God. Thank You for
Calvary; and thank You that You will preserve Your people. Take possession of
our land, we pray. Make Jefferson County Your pastureland.
