If we can take our focus off ourselves and our stuff we may
be able to see the bounty of God and what God is doing in His Church, His earth
and His harvest. We can then praise our God of grace in His temple, our God of
might in the earth, and our God of plenty in the harvest.
God of Grace in the Temple (verses
1-4)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2065:1-4&version=NIV
God’s restoration means the joy of dwelling in His temple.
God receives all who come to Him in faith. He hears all who speak to Him in
prayer. He forgives all who are overwhelmed with sin. The blood of Jesus Christ
cleanses us from all sin. May the community of God’s people—His Church—join
together to praise God for sins forgiven and prayers answered. As we dwell in
His household He is our blessing.
We praise You, God of grace, in the Temple;
for forgiving our transgressions when we were overwhelmed by our sins. Praise
You for answering our prayers. We whom You have chosen and brought to live in
Your courts, You have filled with the good things of Your house, Your holy
temple.
