Worshipping in the Sanctuary (verses 16-28)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2073:16-28&version=NIV
God uses our questions and doubts to mature us so we can live
in the joy of His love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. In God we have wealth
and pleasure far greater than the temporary wealth and pleasures of the
ungodly. When we draw near to God, He gives us wisdom, honor, security, and
peace. Even without understanding God’s ways, we can experience His peace when
we enter His sanctuary. There God heals and restores, calling His people to
meet with Him and with each other.
Lord our God, we enter Your sanctuary to worship You. Remove our desire
for wealth and give us Your wisdom. Use our questions, anguish, and bitterness
to mature us. You are the strength of our hearts and our protector forever. We
make You, our Sovereign Lord, our refuge. We will tell of all your deeds and place
our hope in You.
How good is the God we adore,
Our faithful, unchangeable
Friend!
His love is as great as his power,
And knows neither measure nor
end!
